Planning Your Room Layout
Castaway Bed is designed to fit comfortably in most standard bedrooms while giving each sleeper more personal space when open. As the bed expands, the total width increases, so the main planning consideration is leaving enough room to move comfortably around both sides.

Mattress compatability
Castaway Bed is designed to work with two standard Twin XL mattresses. When the beds come together, the mattresses align to create a complete king sleeping surface.
For the best experience, we recommend mattresses between 10–14 inches in height with similar firmness on both sides.
