Castaway Bed is a modular king sleep system designed for real life and better sleep. Two independent Twin XL platforms can glide apart on demand, revealing a hidden center mattress for a child, pet, or extra space.
Castaway Bed is available in two configurations built on the same core system. Both include the motorized bed platform, integrated floating nightstands, and hidden center mattress. The only difference is the headboard. Anchor includes an integrated headboard, while Drift is designed to pair with your own wall-mounted or freestanding headboard.
Each nightstand is attached directly to the bed and features two drawers for storage along with a built-in charging station that includes USB-C, USB, and standard power outlets, so phones, lamps, and everyday essentials stay within easy reach.
Movement & Control
The bed is operated using discreet push-to-operate control switches located on the back of each nightstand, allowing either person to control the movement. The bed only moves while the switch is actively pressed and stops immediately when released, creating slow, controlled motion that prioritizes safety and peace of mind.
Center Mattress
Every Castaway Bed includes a custom-sized center mattress that is 31 inches wide and 4 inches thick. Made from memory foam, it is comfortable enough to sleep on and works especially well for a younger child or a pet.
Stability & Sleep Experience
The bed feels planted and secure, with no motion transfer between sides. You can move, stretch, get up, or even jump without the bed shifting or reacting. It stays calm and steady through the night, even when sleep doesn’t.

Each Twin XL frame uses a reinforced platform base to create a completely flat, stable sleep surface without slats. No flex, no gaps — just solid, sturdy support every night.
Stabilized center platform
The concealed center mattress rests on a stabilized platform designed to remain aligned and secure when the bed is open. It stays in place whether someone is sleeping on it or not.

Controls are located on the back of the integrated nightstand and operate only while pressed — for safe, slow, and controlled movement. The bed moves while you hold, and stops the moment you release.
